  • Mike Adams criticized OpenAI as monopolistic and "closed," contrary to its name, supporting Elon Musk's critiques of its lack of transparency.
  • China's release of the DeepSeek AI model as open-source democratizes AI technology, fostering global innovation and challenging U.S. corporate dominance.
  • Adams accused decades of Democrat-led "wokeism" and ideological indoctrination in education of undermining STEM skills, while China produces millions of technical graduates annually.
  • Falling behind in AI risks U.S. sovereignty; Adams urged ending censorship, decentralizing AI development, and prioritizing meritocracy to regain competitiveness.
  • Without rapid reforms (e.g., open-source AI, education overhaul), Adams warned America could become a "colony of China" within five years, framing AI dominance as existential.
The Health Ranger Mike Adams and InfoWars founder Alex Jones have issued a stark warning: America's artificial intelligence (AI) development is faltering due to woke ideology, and China is rapidly gaining ground in the race. The duo's conversation on "The Alex Jones Show" highlighted the critical challenges facing the United States and the urgent need for a paradigm shift in AI strategy. Adams began by addressing the misleading nomenclature of OpenAI, emphasizing that the company is anything but open. "It's closed, and Elon Musk's criticisms of Sam Altman and OpenAI are well-founded," he stated. This critique underscores a broader issue: The monopolistic control of AI by a few corporations in America, which contrasts sharply with China's approach. China's release of the powerful DeepSeek R1 reasoning model as an open-source project has been a game-changer. "China has done something extraordinary for human freedom through decentralization," Adams noted. (Related: Why China will win the race for AI supremacy as US efforts collapse under woke, irrational demands for AI censorship.) By making the model freely available and open-sourced, China has democratized access to cutting-edge AI technology, a move that no U.S. corporation has dared to replicate. Adams highlighted the significance of this move, stating that China's decentralized open-source models are a gift to humanity. This approach not only fosters innovation but also empowers individuals and smaller entities worldwide, challenging the dominance of U.S. tech giants. Adams attributed America's lagging position in AI to the detrimental policies of the Democrats over the past two decades. He asserted that Democrats have hobbled America's ability to compete with China in AI. The Health Ranger described this emphasis on wokeism as "the opposite of reason." Sadly, it has sabotaged the education system and stifled the development of critical STEM skills. China, on the other hand, has been producing over three and a half million STEM graduates annually, thanks to a university system that prioritizes technical education over ideological indoctrination. Adams pointed out that China doesn't push wokeness and transgenderism because it is not an indoctrination factory.

The AI arms race: A matter of national security

The conversation took a sobering turn as Adams emphasized the national security implications of falling behind in the AI race. The free speech platforms architect warned that if America can't get back to people who can do math, code, and build systems and technology, and allowing innovation and freedom of expression, then the U.S. is done as a nation. Adams further argued that the U.S. must end censorship across all platforms, including X and YouTube, to foster innovation. "Wokeism is a threat to national security at this point in the AI arms race," he declared. While Adams commended President Donald Trump's efforts to reverse some of the damage, he emphasized the need for more radical reforms. "Trump needs to decentralize and open-source AI right now," he urged. This includes purging woke ideology from universities and corporations and fostering a culture that celebrates meritocracy and innovation. Adams also stressed the importance of attracting top talent from around the world. The Health Ranger also stressed that America needs to attract high-IQ engineers and technical people from all over the world based on merit. He also advocated for a strategic approach to immigration that prioritizes skilled individuals. Ultimately, Adams warned that if America doesn't become competitive in the AI race, it will be a colony of China within five years. The U.S. must embrace open-source AI, reform its education system, and foster a culture of innovation to regain its competitive edge. "This is a national security issue," Adams concluded. "If we don't return to rationality, technical skills, innovation and the freedom to innovate, then we are done as a nation." Follow CommunistChina.news for more news about China.
