Business is humming for plastic surgeon Oren Ganor, but it could always be better. It’s his good fortune to be in a position to juice the market. He’s the co-director of Boston Children's Hospital’s Center for Gender Surgery.

According to FNC, the good doctor co-wrote a March 14 article for The Journal of the American Medical Association arguing that “the capacity for gender surgeries for kids needed to be increased” in sophisticated states like Mass, because the party’s about over in stuffy red states.
See, "gender-affirming care" (GAC) including plastic surgeries has been a go-go industry. For every tween and teen that has a grumpy day there’s a caring counselor ready to suggest Billy might be Suzy and if he isn’t encouraged to wear a dress he’s going to off himself. His parents, cowed by the caring counselor, start shelling out for expensive therapy, drugs and – depending on the upselling skills of his GAC professionals – maybe surgery.
But red states have figured out what’s going on and many have legislation that puts age restrictions on the more drastic steps of GAC.
"Especially as certain states work to criminalize GAC for adolescents, there will be an increased flux of patients traveling to seek care in states with more open legislation," Ganor wrote with his co-author, a medical student. To that end, lobbyists for plastic surgeons like Ganor are busy in D.C. and in state capitols around the country, making sure the pipeline of confused kids stays open.
In article, Ganor had some thoughts about how to “improve capacity for this patient population" since "there will be an increased flux of patients traveling to seek care in states with more open legislation." And why should California get all that child mutilation business?
May I suggest Mobile Uterectomy Surgical Hospitals (M*U*S*H). I’ll figure out a catchy name for the ones that lop penises off when the time comes. Like the abortion entrepreneurs who park their infanticide RVs just across the border from some of the less bloodthirsty states, these MUSH units can pick up and move to where the market is. And think of the ad slogans on billboards: “GAC is Right Down the Track!”
Here’s a really troubling fact for Big Gender: "[P]lastic surgery residencies currently do not have a recommended number of gender-affirming surgery cases that plastic surgery trainees see during training." If so, they’re leaving an awful lot of money on the table.
According to a different source “Male-to female and female-to-male chest surgeries can
cost up to about $10,000, genital surgeries cost about $25,000 and facial feminization surgeries can
range from $20,000 to $50,000.”
Seems like there’s a huge return on investment to be made there.
