Dr. Mary Talley Bowden: IVERMECTIN as effective as monoclonal antibodies against COVID-19 – Brighteon.TV
Ivermectin is just as effective as monoclonal antibodies in treating Wuhan coronavirus (COVID-19) infection, according to board-certified physician Dr. Mary Talley Bowden.
She expounded on this during the April 24 episode of the
Brighteon.TV program "America Can We Talk?" with Debbie Georgatos. Bowden said she started offering monoclonal antibodies to patients when they first came out. The physician attested to the efficacy of this treatment as her patients infected with COVID-19 managed to recover within 24 hours.
At the time, Bowden had an unlimited supply of monoclonal antibodies since she could go straight to the manufacturer and order as many as she wanted. However, procuring monoclonal antibodies became much more difficult when the government took over distribution. She then turned to ivermectin as she was running out of monoclonal antibodies and many sick patients were coming to her.
"I've found out that ivermectin worked just as well, not as quickly I would say, [as] monoclonal antibodies. People wake up the next day and feel amazing – not all the time, but for the most part," Bowden told Georgatos. "Ivermectin might have taken a little bit longer, but that – in combination with other medications – worked very well. I haven't counted in a while, but last time I counted I had 5,500 patients alive and well because of early treatment." (Related:

Sadly, the physician found herself being shut down and kicked out of a doctors' Facebook group after putting all the results on her website and posting them on social media. She was accused of underestimating the disease.
COVID-19 made ivermectin more expensive
Prior to COVID-19 pandemic, Bowden said she had barely heard of ivermectin. However, she researched the drug and stumbled upon the
Food and Drug Administration's original approval document.
The physician mentioned that ivermectin was approved for human use way back in 1987 as a treatment for river blindness disease in Africa. Since then, it has been given to more than four billion people. Georgatos agreed, adding that ivermectin – which is a drug viewed as safe – is on the
World Health Organization's list of essential medications.
Georgatos,
a former national political analyst for
Fox News Radio, pointed out that ivermectin wasn't very expensive at first. Bowden concurred with her observation, adding that this was the trend until COVID-19 came. That, alongside insurance companies refusing to pay for ivermectin, drove up the drug's price and made it more expensive than it should have been.
The "America Can We Talk" host also asked Bowden about breathing treatments she used for COVID-19 patients. Bowden said she used budesonide, albuterol and steroids for those with breathing problems. Aside from these, she also offered breathing treatments using battery-operated nebulizers.
Moreover, Bowden shared that she had a laboratory that offered PCR test for sinusitis caused by bacterial and fungal infections. This quickly turned into a testing facility that processed COVID-19 tests during the pandemic. The physician told people with a positive COVID-19 test to go to their primary care doctor at the soonest. Unfortunately, these patients returned to her saying that they were told to wait.
It turned out out be a blessing in disguise as Bowden provided the right treatment to help them get cured.
