A real-life
walking dead situation is unfolding in the Haitian capital of Port-au-Prince, where roving gangs are attacking police officers with machetes and
eating people like cannibals.
A journalist on the ground in Port-au-Prince claims that the violent situation is worsening throughout the city as gangs demand that Haitian Prime Minister Ariel Henry resign. A state of emergency was declared after gangs attacked two prisons and set many of their prisoners free.
As much as 80 percent of Haiti's capital city is now controlled by these gangs, reports indicate. This is an "unprecedented" level of violence, the journalist reporting all this told the
Daily Star (United Kingdom).
"Haiti is living in a total chaotic situation right now," this person is quoted as saying. "It is total chaos everywhere, especially in the capital where I am right now."
"Haiti has a leader, Prime Minister Ariel Henry, but he is not inside the country right now. In the meantime, you have gangs waging full attacks on key institutions."
The journalist would go on to claim that the roving gangs are attacking entire police stations in Port-au-Prince, trapping officers inside before murdering them with machetes.
"The officers were in there for three hours crying for help, and after that, we saw images of officers being cut by machetes being shared on social media," the journalist said.
"The gangs are heavily armed with guns from the U.S., but they are also equipped with high-level technology like drones."

Is the U.S. purposely destabilizing Haiti?
A known hotspot for human and child trafficking, Haiti's roving gangs are armed, the journalist says, with weapons provided to them by the U.S. This suggests that U.S. authorities
want this destabilization to occur, likely to bring about a coup.
"The level of violence is unprecedented," the journalist said. "The gangs seemingly want to kill as many people as they can. They are in a fear campaign where they want to appear as murderous and as violent as possible."
"Cannibalism is not widespread, but definitely an indication of the worsening situation. It definitely happens on a few occasions."
Because Prime Minister Henry refuses to deal with the gangs, many Haitians are now trying to take matters into their own hands. Ex-cop Jimmy "Barbeque" Cherizier, now a gang member in Haiti, recently proclaimed that the Haitian people are taking "destiny into our own hands" with an agenda to put him in power instead of Henry.
"I don't know if he can take control of the country, but what we know is he is highly influential," the journalist said about Cherizier. "He is probably the most notorious gang member in Haiti."
According to the latest reports, Cherizier is already the most powerful man in Haiti, which is seeing a mass evacuation of Americans as unrest spreads.
U.S. troops are evacuating Americans from the U.S. Embassy in Haiti, and additional forces have been brought in to secure the diplomatic compound in Port-au-Prince.
Cherizier is said to be in charge of most of the gunmen leading anarchy in Haiti's capital, and we are told that he has vowed to fight against Henry until he resigns.
"I am ready to make an alliance with the devil, ready to sleep in the same bed as the devil," Cherizier told his supporters as they proceeded to destroy police stations and other government facilities.
Cherizier's nickname "Barbeque" is said to have come from the guy's alleged propensity to set his victims on fire, his mother supposedly having given him the nickname when he was a child.
