The
Department of Defense has terminated its contract with Booz Allen Hamilton following a hidden camera investigation that revealed a senior Booz Allen employee
making explosive claims about secret meetings and controversial political commentary involving high-ranking military officials.
Jamie Mannina, a former
Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) agent and Booz Allen contractor working with the Pentagon's Joint Staff, was caught on tape at a Spanish restaurant discussing his
access to top military leaders and his involvement in confidential discussions. In the covert recording, Mannina, who reportedly worked as a special agent with the FBI, detailed his connections to top military leaders and his involvement in secret meetings. (Related:
Questions continue to rise over the Pentagon's alleged role in undermining U.S. military strength and national security.)
"I work at this top consulting firm and my client is the Pentagon. I work in the Joint Staff, which is the top military command," he stated. Mannina also boasted about his history in the intelligence community and his work against President Donald Trump. "When Hillary Clinton lost, I went into the intelligence community and became an FBI special agent, so I became a spy hunter. I'm in conversation with a couple of retired generals to explore what we can do. There are two or three-star generals and admirals."
The footage, which aired on a prominent news channel, captures Mannina openly criticizing Trump, labeling him "a sociopathic narcissist" who prioritized his name and wealth over national interests. He further revealed efforts to thwart Trump's potential actions, mentioning his coordination with retired military leaders. "We have these huge meetings with military leaders in a very secure room called The Tank," Mannina explained.
These revelations also highlighted discussions about artificial intelligence technology and strategies involving "501(c)(4)" groups aimed at opposing Trump. Mannina's claims about his access to classified information and his involvement in sensitive discussions have raised serious concerns about national security and the integrity of the Pentagon's operations.
Trump transition team planning mass firing of military officers
Sources familiar with the transition planning for Trump's incoming administration have also revealed
a list of military officers to be fired.
The sources, who requested anonymity to speak candidly about the plans, said the list of potential dismissals is still in its early stages and could evolve as the administration takes shape. However, the scale of the proposed changes has raised eyebrows within the military establishment and among national security experts.
Trump has long been critical of defense leaders who have spoken out against him, and during his campaign, he expressed a desire to fire "woke" generals and those responsible for the troubled withdrawal from Afghanistan in 2021. The incoming administration's focus appears to be on U.S. military officers connected to Mark Milley, Trump's former chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff.
Milley was quoted in Bob Woodward's recent book "War," calling Trump "fascist to the core." This perceived disloyalty has earned him the ire of Trump and his allies, who view him as a prime target for dismissal. The second source familiar with the planning said, "Every single person that was elevated and appointed by Milley will be gone. There's a very detailed list of everybody that was affiliated with Milley. And they will all be gone."
The Joint Chiefs of Staff, comprising the highest-ranking officers in the U.S. military, include the heads of the Army, Navy, Marines, Air Force, National Guard and Space Force. The planned firing of these leaders would be a dramatic departure from past transitions of power.
