  • President Donald Trump announced his administration's plans to end diversity, equity and inclusion (DEI) programs, emphasizing that hiring and promotion decisions should be based on skill and competence rather than race or gender.
  • Trump praised the Supreme Court's recent decision on affirmative action in college admissions as a "brave and powerful" step, aligning with his stance against DEI initiatives.
  • The president signed an order defining gender as binary (male and female) and removed critical race theory from public schools, citing it as a measure to ensure fairness and protect students.
  • Trump warned that schools violating his executive order on gender identity would lose federal funding, and he cited a case involving a female athlete injured by a biologically male player.
  • Trump highlighted his administration's rapid pace of executive actions since taking office, boasting of nearly 100 executive orders and 400 executive actions in 43 days. He also criticized Biden's economic policies, emphasizing his vision for a more prosperous nation.
President Donald Trump has announced that he would reverse the policies of former President Joe Biden on diversity, equity and inclusion (DEI) and gender identity policies. In a fiery speech to a packed House of Representatives on March 3, Trump announced that his administration will end diversity and inclusion programs, vowing that the country would no longer be "woke." Trump emphasized that hiring and promotion decisions would be based solely on skill and competence, rather than race or gender. "We've ended the tyranny of so-called Diversity, Equity and Inclusion policies all across the entire federal government and indeed the private sector and our military. And our country will be woke no longer," Trump said during his first address to Congress following his recent electoral victory. "We believe that whether you are a doctor, an accountant, a lawyer or an air traffic controller, you should be hired and promoted based on your skill and competence and not race or gender." He also highlighted the recent decision of the Supreme Court on affirmative action in college admissions, calling it a "brave and very powerful" step in the right direction. "We have removed the poison of critical race theory from our public schools and I signed an order making it the official policy of the United States government that there are only two genders, male and female," he said. The president's speech also touched on his executive order banning critical race theory from public schools and his decision to officially define gender as binary, with only two genders: male and female. He cited the case of Peyton McNabb, a female high school volleyball player who suffered a traumatic brain injury when struck by a volleyball spiked by a player who identifies as a woman but was biologically male. Trump then promised that schools violating his executive order would face the loss of federal funding.

Trump promises a bigger and better American Dream on his second term

Aside from ending DEI policies and gender identity, Trump also listed the achievements of his second administration. He noted that they had accomplished more in 43 days than most administrations do in four to eight years. Trump cited signing nearly 100 executive orders and carrying out 400 executive actions in the short time since taking office on Jan. 20. "We have accomplished more in 43 days than most administrations accomplish in four years or eight years. The American Dream is surging – bigger and better than ever before. The American Dream is unstoppable," Trump said. He also accused Biden of creating an "economic catastrophe" and an "inflation nightmare." Trump highlighted his vision for a stronger and more prosperous nation. "This is a time for big dreams and bold action. We ended all of Biden's environmental restrictions that were making our country far less safe and totally unaffordable," he concluded. Visit Trump.news for more stories like this.
